CallDesk is a Dialpad-like business VoIP desktop application. Users search contacts, dial from the keypad, manage live calls from a persistent control bar, and keep call history organized, delivered as an Electron + React client on top of a Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and Drizzle platform.

Problem
The team needed a Dialpad-style desktop softphone, place and manage business calls from the computer with dialer, contacts, and call controls, without locking into a rigid third-party PBX UI.
Solution
We built CallDesk, a cross-platform Electron desktop VoIP app with a React dialer experience (contacts, keypad, recents) and a Node.js + PostgreSQL backend for auth, call metadata, and secure APIs, validated end-to-end with Zod.
Result
A production Electron softphone for Windows, macOS, and Linux with mute, hold, transfer, recording, and a familiar Dialpad-like calling workflow.
